The concept for this show was to bathe the performers in richly colored light to match the mix the emotion of the operatic and religious numbers performed throughout the evening. Being a benefit concert held in an older catholic HS auditorium there was limited load in time and limited lighting fixtures in house. I was able to borrow 16 Chauvet Colorado led's and placed them on two crank lifts in the wings as well as some floor units and several on the balcony position to provide the rich colors needed for the musical numbers. Overall a fantastic production despite the limited resources and little prep time.
